User Interface Design

Earth Pursuit Project

Overview & Goals

Earth Pursuit is a human impact awareness project designed with the primary goal of educating users about the urgent and ongoing effects of deforestation on our planet. This project takes a digital first approach to storytelling and information design, combining engaging visuals with user-centric layouts to foster understanding and encourage action.

The desktop experience emphasizes clarity and interactivity, utilizing a clean UI with strong visual hierarchy, consistent navigation patterns, and intuitive information architecture. These design decisions ensure that users can easily access facts, statistics, and narratives about deforestation.

Methodology

User experience principles such as minimal friction, micro-interactions, and feedback loops were integrated to keep the audience engaged throughout their journey.

UI design elements include a nature inspired color palette that reflects the environmental theme. Rich greens, earthy browns, and stark contrasts were implemented to highlight the loss and urgency associated with forest depletion.

Earth Pursuit Poster

In addition to the digital platform, the project features a poster campaign that acts as a physical extension of the online experience. The poster uses visual storytelling to quickly communicate key messages in public spaces, using strong imagery and bold type to attract attention and prompt curiosity, ideally driving viewers to explore the full digital platform.

Overall, Earth Pursuit balances aesthetic appeal with functional design to not only inform users but to create an emotionally resonant and actionable experience grounded in UX/UI best practices.
